Siobhán Mannion was born in Ireland and grew up in Cambridge, England.  Her family is from Clifden, Co Galway.  She has won awards for short fiction and radio drama, and her writing has appeared in Irish and international publications including Eighteen BridgesStand magazine, The MothNew Irish Writing and The Long Gaze Back and Silver Threads of Hope anthologies.  She is a recipient of a MacDowell Colony fellowship, and the Hennessy Award.  She works as a radio producer in RTÉ, and is currently completing a first collection of stories.
