Fiona Looney is a writer and broadcaster. She wrote Dandelions and October, both enjoying very successful runs at the Olympia Theatre, Dublin, and at The Opera House, Cork. Are you there Garth? It’s me, Margaret enjoyed an extended run at the Olympia in 2015. Prior to her debut as a playwright, she was a columnist for the Sunday Tribune and, for the past four years, the Irish Daily Mail and the Irish Mail on Sunday. Her television credits include The Fast Show (BBC), No Limits (Sky One), This Is Ireland (BBC) and You’re a Star, Chain Reactions, and Buried Alive. She also devised Celebrity Bainisteoir, which was a critical and commercial hit for RTÉ.
