Michael Magee, winner of the Rooney Prize 2023 has created a vivid and complex world of a young man trying to find his place in the world with his first novel, Close To Home. In Couples, Lauren Mackenzie explores what keeps the heart beating in in our loving, close relationships when life takes a turn we might not have expected. With Wild Houses, from the acclaimed short-story writer Colin Barrett, we are in a world where outsiders collide and unexpected events bring chaos. Peter Murphy, novelist and musician steers this trio in what will surely be an absorbing discussion.
