Expert Tips for Teenage Reads

Reading for fun as a teen or young adult can sometimes fall by the wayside for many reasons, but there are lots of amazing books and ways to engage with reading available to teens. Join Ruth Concannon, Publications Officer of Children’s Books Ireland, to explore some great recommended reading for teens aged 15+. In this 75-minute workshop focusing on a mix of genres for different interest levels and abilities, Ruth will explore some great reading recommendations as well as tips and tricks for helping to incorporate the habit of reading into everyday life. Students will also get to take part in an activity to match them with the best type of book for them. Effective and practical resources will also be provided to supplement the session.
