Discover how you can use writing as a fun and powerful means of self-expression in Fighting Words workshops facilitated by Development and Outreach Officer Colm Quearney, Fighting Words Dublin. Learn how to harness the power of your imagination to create stories with your friends that are particularly relevant to your interests and that will appeal to you as readers.

Colm will be joined by library staff and Fighting Words Clare volunteers in interactive writing workshops where everyone in the class participates. Together you will choose your own setting, plot, characters and dialogue to create an original piece of fiction.

Fighting Words is about using the creative practice of writing and storytelling to empower and strengthen children and teenagers from all backgrounds, to be resilient, creative and successful shapers of their own lives.
