Haven Horizons – Light on the Horizon

Light on the Horizon is the inspiring story of two women, Colette Reddington and Mary Fitzgerald who said no to domestic abuse and of an entire Clare community that walked that journey with them.

Irish Examiner journalist and fiction writer Sarah Harte will interview Madeline McAleer, Research and Development Director of Haven Horizons, and Padraic Haran; co-authors of the recently published Light on The Horizon, and Colette Reddington, co-founder of Clare Haven and Haven Horizons.

This inspiring and hopeful book emanates from an archive kept over decades. While it tells the gripping story of women motivated to change lives, it also educates us on how to tackle domestic abuse based on cutting-edge research and in the process dismantling the myths that surround domestic violence
