Alan Titley is the author of eight novels, four collections of stories, many plays and some poetry including An Bhean Feasa, an epic poem based on the life and times of Goody Glover the Irishwoman hanged as a witch in Boston in 1688.
His selected essays Nailing Theses are published by Lagan Press. He translated Máirtín Ó Cadhain’s classic novel Cré na Cille as The Dirty Dust two years ago. He is Emeritus Professor of Modern Irish in UCC and writes a weekly column on current and cultural affairs for The Irish Times.
