The Beyond Borders Book Club is a celebration of great literature from countries beyond Ireland, recommended by guests who have connections to the places discussed in these writings.  

Over 3 Wednesday evenings in January and February 2023, Sarah Clancy will lead a discussion with guest panelists focusing on books that they have chosen.

On 18th January, Ignacio Alberto Barcelos de Oliveira from Brazil will be in conversation about ‘Here The Whole Time‘ by Vitor Martins.

February 1st sees Alina Senkova from Ukraine in conversation about ‘Daughter’ by Tamara Duda.

Finally, on February 15th Niloufar Omidi from Iran will be in conversation about ‘Daughter of Persia‘ by Sattareh Farman Farmaian.

The culmination of the Beyond Borders Book Club will be a panel event during our festival weekend featuring all the contributors.
