Fathers feature strongly in literature from Atticus Finch (Harper Lee) to Michael Moran (Amongst Women) and with Mother’s Day falling on Sunday 06 March, we thought that it would be interesting to take a look at fathers in literature. We have invited three authors in whose work fathers feature prominently to join us. Cormac James (Track and Field and The Surfacing), Kevin Maher (The Fields and Last Night on Earth) and Cónal Creedon (Fathers and Sons, Passion Play, Pancho and Lefty Ride Out, The Mortal Deed Of Michael O’Leary) will be reading from their work and discussing the fathers within.
This session will be hosted by Sara Keating, cultural journalist with The Irish Times.
