Tina O'Toole

Dr Tina O’Toole is senior lecturer in English, and programme director of the MA English at the University of Limerick, Ireland. Her publications include Women Writing War: Ireland 1880-1922 (UCD Press 2016; co-edited Gillian McIntosh and Muireann O’Cinnéide), 

The Irish New Woman (Palgrave Macmillan, 2012); a study of the second-wave Irish Women’s Movement, Documenting Irish Feminisms (Woodfield Press, 2005; co-authored Linda Connolly). Her journal publications include essays in Modernism/ModernityIrish University Review, and New Hibernia Review, and she has edited several journal special issues including Éire-Ireland (47) on “Irish Migrancies” (2012; co-edited with Piaras Mac Éinrí). Having been active in student politics at UCD and UCC in the 1990s, O’Toole went on to contribute to a number of feminist and LGBTQ organisations over subsequent decades including Cork Women’s Right to Choose Group; she was a founder member of LINC in Cork.
