In this interactive event, poet Pat Boran will combine text, photos and moving images and will read from his latest collection, Hedge School. As well as the many books he has published, Pat has been making short poetry films for a number of years. In this enchanting talk and screening of a selection of his films, Pat will delve into the creative impulse that drives him to match words and images in this way. His poetry films have played in festivals around the world. Pat Boran is the director and publisher of Dedalus Press, one of Ireland’s most established poetry imprints.
