EBCF is delighted to announce this latest addition to our fringe events. Tá áthas ar EBCF ár n-imeacht imeallach is déanaí a fhógairt.
Comóradh: A Celebration of Ireland’s Restless Girls — Na Cailíní Fiáine
Bígí linn for an evening of poetry, ravens, and song as we gather to honour Ireland’s restless girls - na cailíní fiáine - keepers of folklore, ritual and wild stories.
Dánta & amhráin le Annemarie Ní Churreáin & An Chéad Ghlúin Eile.
In the run-up to Lá Fhéile Síle (Sheelah’s Day), bígí linn do cheiliúradh dátheangach fíor-speisialta. Come gather as we kindle the fires. Guthanna fiáine, croíthe fiáine, pobal fiáin.
Annemarie Ní Churreáin will read from her latest book, Hymn to All the Restless Girls. She will be joined by sisters Máire & Étáin, who together are An Chéad Ghlúin Eile and they will accompany the readings with their beautiful songs.
An Chéad Ghlúin Eile (ACGE) are sean-nós singing sisters from the Ráth Chairn Gaeltacht in Meath, Ireland.
