Teachers in County Clare are invited to apply for the sixth annual School Book Club Series, an engaging literary programme for 5th and 6th class students.
Running throughout Autumn 2026, this exciting in-school initiative encourages reading, creativity, and storytelling through a series of interactive workshops. Students will have the opportunity to develop their writing, illustration, and imaginative thinking skills while exploring the enjoyment and power of books and stories.
Led by acclaimed author Sarah Moore Fitzgerald, author of The Apple Tart of Hope and All the Money in the World, the workshops are designed to inspire a lasting connection with reading while supporting students in creating and sharing their own original work.
Students will also have the opportunity to enter a Writing & Illustration Competition, with prizes presented at the Ennis Book Club Festival 2027.
