Andrew O’Hagan in conversation with Wendy Erskine

In his ambitious novel, Caledonian Road, Andrew O’Hagan takes us on a picaresque journey through a city and a life. His protagonist, Campbell Flynn, is about to be confronted by the mistakes of his past, and in the city of London a vast web of connections is revealed. Born in Glasgow, O’Hagan’s novels include Mayflies, The Secret Life and The Illuminations. He has been nominated for the Booker Prize and he won the E.M. Forster prize. Belfast writer Wendy Erskine whose new novel The Benefactors is due shortly, will explore the world of Caledonian Road with Andrew in what promises to be a fascinating discussion.
