Clare Youth Theatre presents ‘The Freedom to Read is the Liberation of the Spirit.’
Clare Youth Theatre celebrates 21 years of creativity as part of the County Clare Arts Office. Its first production, Ex Libris (Out of Books), was a site-specific performance in the De Valera Library, exploring free access to books and the role of libraries. This year, the company invites audiences to enjoy performances of works chosen and performed by young people, celebrating the new library and the Ennis Book Club Festival. Directed by Eleanor Feely, the event reflects T.S. Eliot’s words: “And the end of all our exploring will be to arrive back at the place we started and know the place for the first time.”
Tickets Free online here or from glór box office on 065 6843103.
